Lost Planet Capcom sites Lost Planet external sites This subreddit is enhanced. Alright so I've been spending a significant amount of time trying to get LP2 to work. I've tried installing the Games for Windows bit that the install comes with (in Steam) both in non-compatibility and in compatibility (win7) mode. Tried copying the xlive.dll files from the 64 bit section to system32. Tried adding Games for Windows to firewall exceptions.
When I look up how to fix it in google half the download links people say to use seem to redirect to a new microsoft for Win10 games webpage that has no evident download links on it. Both Games for Windows and LP2 give me the same error, 'The ordinal 43 could not be located in the dynamic link library'. Does anyone have a current, working, guide in how to get LP2 and associated programs working in Win10 64 bit?
Edit: Well that's annoying. Apparently the distributed version of Games for Windows was out of date and I managed to finally found a working official download. So now LP2 works but I'm getting alot of audio popping noises now when I start it.
